Orthoses are personal biomechanical medical appliances designed to correct your specific foot imbalance. Orthoses work on your feet much in the same way glasses work on your eyes; they reduce stress and strain on your body by reducing the force and pressure on your feet, ankles, knees and hips. 

 

Our orthotics service provides innovative, custom made orthosis designed to gently reduce problems associated with pressure points, muscle strain and abnormal forces on the ankles, knees, hips and spine. By taking a plaster cast of your feet we have a perfect template to create a comfortable device to fit your foot and footwear and, over time, bring relief from pain and fatigue. The aim is to allow you to enjoy your daily activities and encourage you to be more active. 

 

During your initial appointment a detailed biomechanical assessment and gait analysis will be undertaken to determine which device will be most suited to your footwear, lifestyle and interests. All of our orthotics are made ‘in-house’, which means that we have an incredibly quick production time.
